De'Longhi Power PCB 5213227521 for La Specialista EC9335
We inform you that starting from production day February 26th 2020 (serial number
XXXXXXXX20057RXXX) the firmware on the La Specialista for every country will be updated to
version 1.1.3.
This new FW version includes the following changes:
- Steam delivery time increase from 60 sec to 120 sec;
- After steam delivery the machine will not give alarms for the steam knob not in position. When
user will need a further steam delivery, just need to go back and forth with the knob;
- Drip tray alarm will have only this light flashing (without the general alarm). Overheating will
be indicated by the OK button flashing (as per warming up process);
- If the tamper is not in standard position, the light will be steady on. It will still be flashing to
indicate the need to tamper after grinding operation.
New PCB are backward compatible. Here the new codes equipped with the new SW 1.1.3:
- version AU/NZ: p/n 5213227521
- version INT: p/n 5213227621
- version US/CA: p/n 5213227541
New main PCB equipped with firmware 1.0.6 and grinder PCB equipped with firmware 14 are fully
interchangeable with previous versions pcb, but you will have to bear in mind what follows:
• If a machine is equipped with a new main PCB (release firmware 1.0.6) and a pcb grinder that
has a firmware previous to release 14:
o this machine allows to manage the ground coffee quantity dial with the new range;
o this machine will not be equipped with new controls on mills made by the Hall sensor that point out the presence of foreign matters or a clogging of the coffee chute
• If a machine is equipped with an old main PCB, whose firmware is previous to release 1.0.6 and
a pcb grinder updated to the new firmware (v.14): the appliance will not be provided neither
with new ground coffe quantity dial, nor with any control on the grinder. The machine will
just work following old features.
