New bayonet design December 2021
Description: KMX7.. bayonet design change to improve bowl retention in the pedestal.
Root cause: Due to parts manufactured out of specification, an inconsistency in the bowl’s locking position and torque may happen. This can lead to the plastic ring snapping, bowl getting stuck in the pedestal or unlocking and during usage.
Design difference: A new bayonet design is developed to address these issues. The new bayonet solution has a different design and increased number of lugs to prevent the bowl ejecting, and to reduce the risk of breakage.
